About The Event
Navigating the environmental audit system in Victoria can be quite complex. Would you like to know more on the audit process? Why are they required? Who regulates them? And how an audit requirement and outcome might impact your business or project?
Whether you are a landowner, developer, legal professional, financier or consultancy, this seminar will provide you with insights from a panel of experienced professionals: the regulator, the environmental auditor and the client / land owner.
Barbara Schultz - Team Leader, Audit Unit, EPA, will provide an overview on the environmental audit system and commentary on the types of audits, EPA's regulatory involvement and requirements to satisfy an audit.
Sally Bonham - Environmental Auditor, Prensa, will provide an understanding on why and when an environmental audit may be required, the process and timing for completing an audit, and the common misunderstandings on risks, audit outcomes, when completing an audit.
Narelle Simmons – Environmental Programs Manager, VicTrack, will provide a perspective from a land owner's view on the challenges faced by clients on risks to projects and programs when faced with an environmental audit.
Hosted by EPA, the seminar is complimentary and will be accompanied by a light breakfast and an opportunity for networking.
